There are two pumps in the bilge area. One is to fill the live wells and the other is to pump water from the boat. Both are located in the bilge area. That area is the lowest part of the back of the boat just ahead of the transom or the area just ahead of the drain plug. The switch's for these pumps are located at the console.

The bilge area is accessible from the top. Usually it is covered with a removable section of flooring. On some the gas tank has to be removed first and it is below there.

When you get in there you will see two pumps. One is connected to a hose that is connected to an intake located thru the transom. That pump is for the live-wells. In order for this pump to work the valves in the live-wells must also be in the open position. Those valves are a nozzle like thing at the top of the live-well tank. Screw the nozzle out to open and in to close. Like on a garden hose nozzle you can adjust the amount of water flow by how far you open or close the nozzle.

The other pump is connected to a discharge hose that dumps water out the side of the boat above the water line. That is the bilge pump.

Do yourself a favor. While you are in there replace both pumps. They are not that spendy and as you will find out they are a bitch to get at.

Now, if all I've done is confuse you shoot some more guestions.
