    Backing up hill

    Is it just me or are these boats impossible to back uphill? I know with my previous boat it had a lever that you could engage or disengage but this one crosses it's arms and says heck no you aint coming back ! HELP ME OUT GUYS !

    Yes the tongue will activate and slide in just like if you were applying the breaks going forward..I always called these surge brakes..just wonder if anyone else has ran into this

    Do you have power from a reverse light on the car to the lock-out solenoid under the drawbar?

    Make sure your trailer plug is sending current to disengauge the brakes. I put one of these on my trailer incase i ever run into the trouble you are having.

    ok cool found a exposed wire that was grounding...taped her up everthing is good...thanks guys !

    I got it from a place that sells trailers in Baton Rouge. think it was about 20 bucks.
