Favorite square bill color?

I like to use the sexy shad or shad pattern in clear water.

If the water is stained i will switch to an orange belly craw etc.

What about you guys and gals?

Sexy shad and blue back with chrome sides I think are the only two square bills I've caught bass on. I don't throw one a lot though.

I throw either a sexy shad or orange belly craw. The craw color is slowly becoming by favorite on my home lake.

I was fishing a local lake last week with water temps around 47*. Pulled into a nice creek wishing it was 55* temp and mid march to cath those fish starting to stage. I like to throw a squarebill first then try a spinnerbait if they are more aggressive.

i like a black/chart

but my fav is a bomber square A 1/4 in firetiger. for some reason though its the only bait that firetiger color works for me

tomato shad, always do well with it, especially if yellow perch are abundant. Ghost shad is a good color too.

Any of the KVD specials in clear water....variations of the sexy shad, and in stained water I got an old firetiger rapala glass crank that I've caught no telling how many on...
