Cabelas Store will open next year in Louisville, Kentucky.

It will be nice to have a Cabelas Store here in Kentucky.

This will also bring several hundred jobs to the Louisville, KY area.

The good = Nice to have a Cabelas in Ky
The Bad = Will now have to pay sales tax when I order online,that was always a big + not paying sales tax.

Its been 2 years since Ive done it but cant you order on line and pick it up at the store? I bought a trolling motor and rain suit that way. Either my memory has lapsed and Im full of it or the reason I did it was to save on the sales tax.

Cabela's is a great store, best CS in the field!

If you live in a state where they have a store, you'll have to pay sales tax for an online order.

Thanks for the clarification. Shipping not tax. Senior moment. Iknew it was some kind of savings.

Im actually waiting for a phone call to get drug screened at the Cabellas 5 miles from my house. I had an interview with them earlier this week. The guy that referred me said selling fishing tackle on weekends cant be the worst thing you could do. My response was after 3 flat years in self employment (home improvement) Im going to sell for Cabellas or sell for myself. All my tackle and boat are on the blocks if I have another flat year.
