Alot of people do not know what software they are running. Alot of questions are also asked about it. What I have been doing is I stick a label to the cover that hides the wireing. On this label I list the date and the software verision. That way you know whats in there along with the dealer will know everytime he or she should take the cover off. Next time your in for service ask for or hand him a label and ask them if they can do the same.
Now that is a great idea !!!!!
It would also be good to state if the motor is set up for XD-100 oil .

when i got the xd100 update the dealer did put a yellow sticker on it indicating the update.
I ran a copy of the Map list, It stays on my clip board so when I plug in I can reference it for the latest version. I try to check the Map list daily so they don't sneak one in on me. Makes life a little easier. Now if I could get the boss to set up a printer outside....... I always give the customer a copy of the profile, run all the PDA and laptop files to hard copy after about 75 or so, less scrolling. Still have hard copies of the 97 engines. Might be getting time to clear out the lower drawer, getting a little cramped in there.
