Looking to hit the water saturday, debating between MacBride, Geode, and Argyle. Just wondering if anyone has been on Macbride and if there's any reports on water temps or if they're biting.

I haven't been out there yet, but I called our local tackle shop for you and the report is..... They are catching them on Macbride. DT-6 and rattle traps have been effective. Water temps as of last week were pushing 50 and with the warmer weather we are having and after our 80 degree Friday we are supposed to have they expect the water to be pushing mid 50's.
Good Luck!
If you go let me know how you do, I was hoping to be out there this weekend but instead I'm heading north for a wedding![]()
Cool, down to MacBride and Argyle! Just depends if I wanna drive all the way to Argyle or not![]()
Well, through process of elimination, looks like MacBride saturday. Just found out Illinois High School bass fishing tournament is on Argyle this week. That little lake is gettin hammered!![]()
High school bass fishing? I wish they would have had that around here when I was in school. Best I got was a job at the tackle shop.
Good luck Saturday!

Was at MacBride last Saturday fishing all day in the rain. Bite was slow, ended up with 6 with the biggest around 3 1/2.
