While in gear the motor sounds like it wants to die, but it never has. This is something new that got me a little concerned. The rpm's are where they should be in gear idling and in neutral, and once I hit the hot foot to get on plane it seems fine. There might be a slight hesitation on hole shot , and it may be slightly slower than it has been getting out of the hole. But, that is a very slight thing that only I would notice. I had my partner pump the bulb to see if that had any effect while idling in gear, and it did not seem like it did anything. Last fall I got both low pressure pumps rebuilt, sync and link, replaced 10 micron filter in bilge, and a decarb done. I also put new plugs in too. I checked the plugs and they are not oil fouled or carboned, and there is no fuel leaks under the cowl. I use Pennzoil Premium Plus, Ring Free Plus, and Stabil with every fill up. Could this be related to fuel lines, plug wires, or fuel injector screens that have been heavily discussed lately? Any suggestions?
