    HPDI Ethanol Resistant Fuel Lines

Does the 2005 250 HPDI have ethanol resistant fuel lines?

YES YOUR YAMAHA lines should be fine, just make sure the boat was not rigged with older gray mercury fuel line from tank to engine

    Thanks Toledo Freak.

I should be good on the boat lines. I asked Ranger if a 2005 521 had ethanol resistant lines and they said it did. Although the fuel line is gray????

Just make sure it "does not" have the red writing, but it has blue

If it's an 2005 with grey lines I would swap it out for the newest A-1 rated hoses. A lot cheaper to do that than deal with any issues later. The grey lines are notorious for being the ones that are not alcohol friendly. If you swap it out, it's not that expensive, you can do it youself, and then you can cross that off your "worry list".

Mine has a grey hose from the ball to the motor. It does not have no writing, but has a red line on it

Re: HPDI Ethanol Resistant Fuel Lines (Skeeter ZX-190)

My lines are the same and I have wondered the same thing. I also noticed that this same hose is used in multiple locations under the cowling so if it needs to be replaced it will be a task. I actually cut my hose open and looked at it and it appears to be solid with no liner which is where the problems usually come in. So far its not gummy and seems to be holding up well.

I changed my ball this year. Cut a piece out also. It doesn't look like it has a liner in it. I would say we were safe
