I have a 1992 Yamaha 130 V-4 that slows down to an idle if I go over 5,000 RPM for a short distance. Is a long beep alarm a temp problem, or an oil pump problem? I've replace the poppet valve, thermostats, water pump, and clean out both water jackets. I don't know what else to do, I'll let the motor set for 20min. and it fine, thats why I believe its a temp. problem...(But, I could be wrong) I can run all day under 5,000 RPM's and not have a problem. I've also notice I'm not going through oil like on my Mercury...

Any advise would appriciated...
