    97 Yama 90

I have a 97 yama 90 and I was wondering is there a trim limiter or something on that motor? I seems when im running it will only trim up to a certain point.. I can trim all the way up and it never drops speed, starts bouncing, or jumps in rpms. And also the last couple times she has been out it has been tough to start.. it took like 5 min last sat and I just had the plugs changed about 2 months ago but after it cranks and i run it, it will fire up quick..Any ideas??

I have had two of these little 90's one being a 1991 model that I still use quite often. Best trick to start them is prime bulb. then before attempting to start motor engage throttle and push all the way down like you would when you take off. Work the throttle down like this three times. Then choke motor and start should fire up a lot quicker this way.

All motors are set up that way. You have both a tilt and trim. Trim works while the motor is under power and tilt works to raise the motor while you are not under full power. This keeps you from being able to tilt past the strong points of the motor mount and possbily torquing something. If you need more trim your going to have to get it from prop work or wedges for your mount.
