Switching to Amsoil. Have a question?

How is the best way to empty the oil that is already in the tank without running it all out. It is almost full. Also, how many gallons does the oil tank hold on a 2001 Skeeter? It appears to be around 2.5 gallons.

You dont have to drain it, But if you want too. Take the motor cowl off and pull the oil tank nipple off the bottom and let it dran and use the toggle switch on the motor to keep pumping the big tank into the one your draining.

Just run out the oil you have in the reservoir down to the lowest level you are comfortable with and then add in the new oil. That's what I did when I switched to Penzoil Full Synthetic.
