    Help 250 HPDi ... No forward or reverse

    2006 250hp HPDI...I Hit a stump (barely clipped it) then stopped immediately and idled out of the area for about 200yds. Got back on plane and drove about 1/4 mile when heard a wierd, kinda high pitched noise then the boat came to a stop. I had NO reverse or forward gear...I hoped it was just a spun hub. Turns out the Hub was fine. Got home and visually inspected the shift cables under the cowling and they seemed fine...
    Any quick fix ideas??? got a tournament this weekend

    That doesn't sound good...no clue on what's wrong...hope it turns out something small...

    Bearings heated up and then froze up.
