    Water in gear case!!!!

I just had the water pump replaced on my johnson GT 150 and noticed grease around the prop. I never have seen water in the gearcase before I was wondering if it may be something the mech did wrong or if it's something that is totaly unrelated. any help would be appriectated.

Your post is a little confusing... When your waterpump impeller was changed, no seals to the gearcase needed to be opened, so it should have nothing to do with any leaks you may have now.

Pull your propeller off the motor, and then the thrust washer in front of it, too, and inspect to see if the gearcase lube is leaking from the propeller shaft seal.

Get back here and do another post with your results and you'll get plenty of help/advice.
