I have a 2004 SX-190 with the Yammie 150 V-Max Carb Mdl. I took it in a few weeks ago for impeller and water pump and oil filter and to just do a spring check. First time out this year I went down a water way and then when I hit the main lake opened her up for about 1/4 mile and turned around. I then put out my fold and troll and put out about four lines. I went about 100 yards and the over heat buzzer went off. First time anything like this has happened. I havent had a lick of trouble with this motor since I have had it. I turned the motor off and pulled in the lines and then put every thing away. I was out on Lake Michigan and didnt want to get stuck out there. I let the motor sit for about 5-10 mins then started it up again. The buzzer went off again after start up and then went off. I then went to head back to the marina and when I gave it gas the boat would get up to around 2500 rpms and the fall on its face and wouldnt go any more. I idled back into the docks and called it a day. I did have about 25 psi water pressure when running. Also when the buzzer went off the motor was shooting a good stream so the water was circulating good. Any thoughts???????? I will call my mechanic back tomorrow dont know if he might have did something when he put the water pump and impeller in.

Any Suggestions,
Jim
