'07 250 HPDI input needed

Looking at an '07 Ranger demo with 250 HPDI. Dealer said they thought it had about 30 hrs on it. Should they be able to hook it up to the computer and verify?

Any suggested questions or advice before pulling the trigger?

Anything in particular I should look out for?

Yes, All the HPDI or DFI motors can be checked for hours... Very strong motors. Make sure it had the oil pump upgrade.. Make sure it has a water seperator filter/RACOR.

Is the Racor filter something that would have been instaleled on a new boat or is it aftermarket item someone would add? Would a 30 hr 9 month old boat have required any service to this point...plugs, lower unit oil change, etc? Should any of it be done fairly soon?

I purchased mine new in 2007 /Dealer had me bring it back for a 10 hr. check.
They changed the lower unit oil.Put it on the computer to make sre everything was operating the way it should .Mine came with the Racor filter installed from the dealer.
I have it in the shop now for the oil pump replacement.
