lower unit on a ox66 2007 Yamaha 250

I have a 2007 ox66 250 HP Yamaha and plan on buying a spare lower unit for it... I found a 2005 I want to buy... It does not have the redesigned skeg but will it still work on my 2007..

lower units will fit from 3.3 hpdi to the 3.1 ox66

I was thinking that the 2007 were all hpdi and
in 2006 on thats all you could get
before 06 you could get a ox66 those are efi s
