What is the ratchet size for taking my spark plugs out of my 06 model 175 hpdi. I tried the normal 13/16 and it wasn't even close. Also, does anyone know of a technical service bulletin about Yamaha put out about faulty oil injector pumps.

For you American fellas it might be sized in millimeters,not sure of the size though.
I dont know why they ever changed measurements up here,I was right in the middle of school when it happened,very confused now!!
I am checking out the oil pump thing also because my 175HPDI blew a piston with only 120hrs on it
Uh... how 'bout a 5/8" sparkplug socket?
Yes there have been many posts on the TSB regarding the oil pump on the HPDI motors. Not all are affected though.
