That's the farthest back I can see for an operator's manual, 1998. Section 4, page 1, and it says 4500-5500 RPM's.
As for the prop, my best guess would be somewhere around a 17 or 19 inch pitch, maybe a 21 if you run light.
4500-5500 at WOT. I turn a 22 pitch at 5400 on a 18ft Xpress Bass boat, with a 1994 115 Yamaha.

we are gonna try a solas titan s/s 19pitch .. the blades are cupped a bit and has a slight rake... will be interesting to see what it does......

A 19 would probably be a good starting point for that boat/motor. I run 21/22p props on my Yamaha 115/Skeeter 16-footer.
