Oil warning light

Hello, I currently have a 1999 suzuki efi 150. I have had it for 5 years no problems other than normal maintence. New Years day my son and I fish a local tournement and as we were running down the lake on my multi-gauge at above 5000 rpm the oil warning light started flashinng on and off. As soon as you drop below 5000 rpm it went off. It was very cold that day with lows around 20 degrees. It has not done it any more.

clean the little oil filter its in line below the oil tank, you will have to remove the oil tank to get to it, i had this happen before the oil gelled & stopped up the screen
