    Stale gas

Have 3/4 tank of gas that is 8 weeks old at least. Should I drain my tank completely? Or just some and top with new fuel? Or just burn out the fuel? I'm thinking I should drain the tank but how do I dispose of the gas?

Don't know if it's right or wrong but every spring I drain mine & start with new gas. Just did it today. Put the old gas in my truck. My gas was older than 8 weeks.

    Re: (Illinois Trooper)

gas breaks down after about a month. Did you put stabil in it or anything else. If not I would drain it as best you can and put fresh. I always store mine damn near empty. Old school folks says store it full and I never understood that. To many additives in gas these days. Good luck

How (or with what) did you treat that fuel?
