Also, IMHO and I am sure that my two guardian (both named John) angels will back me up on this one. It is best to drain or check for water in the lower unit at the end of the boating season.![]()
When using the ultra hpf "stuff" you don't have to change every season but, "YOU" should check at the end of the season for water, drain and repair if you find water, if no water drain and refill to BRP's specs so the unit don't sit over the winter contaminated with water and rust the bearing and gears.
