What are the differences between the mercury 250 pro xs and sport xs? I know the lower units are different and the sport has solid motor mounts.
Is there rpm range different?
Does one have more low end power or turn more rpms?
Weight difference?

ALL the differences are in the gearcase, mounts, adapter plate, and cowling/decals.
Powerheads are IDENTICAL.
