Having to put the search on hold for a bit!

Still am dying for a Bullet here but the deal on my Skeeter sale did not come through as it was a bit too much boat than he wanted. Long story short I am gonna wait a bit longer and start up the search this winter or early next year. I will have some additional cash saved up and may get an even newer one. Its hard to jump out of what I have now as it looks new, runs great and I just added about $4000 in upgrades plus its paid for. Honestly too I just have not had the "right" Bullet get my attention. I've seen a few good ones but all either had a motor I was not fond of or something else. I've just felt i was rushing myself too and i'd rather take my time. If i put my skeeter out there it will sell easily but i'd rather save up a bit more and do it right when i do it. Thanks to all that have helped and are helping.

Found one 21XDC locally that was a NICE boat but had an Evinrude FICHT. Also found a nice one in FLA that I liked w/o motor and right now its hrad to find a good used motor, I want a 250XS but was trying to have it all come in at around $25,000 so i could pay cash. I think I may need to add a little bank to go a bit higher.

If its a good price on the boat with no motor and its what you want then why not snag it now and keep it in storage till close to winter when boats and motors become more availible (from Thanksgiving till income tax time)...? Would give you a better chance to get what you want on both ends..


I recently entered into the Bullet life style by finding a 20XDC w/225 Promax w/sportmaster and stepped out of my old ZX175 Skeeter which sold on the first day I put the add up... Sometimes luck falls on you other times you have to find it and make it happen... But best of luck
