Hard to say. I haven't seen Metzenberger play yet. He may be as good or better.

Alan is referring to the opinion that Mettenberger possibly could have done what Lee did or even better.

Why don't people give Lee credit? Metzenberger may or may not have done well but we will never know.... Lee has done well and LSU is undefeated so far because of What he has done. I just think that he gets no credit and that people actually disrespect him. I think that he was disrespected in the Georgia game also. That is just my opinion it doesnt mean Im right or wrong I just felt like voicing how I feel about this.

Who are these ''people'' you speak of ?? Lee has done a great job this year and was all but thrown out with the bath water after the pick six season he had, but he stayed with the team when he could have left, that alone is all i need to know about that guy, he's a great person and a true Tiger and i for one am glad he's here and got to play. I believe in Miles and so should everyone else, he is the one who is responsable for this team being 13-0 and now in the championship game.

JL has some psycho issue...as long as JJ was benched early on in the season...
JL looked all-SEC...once he was sharing and then went in vs Bama, he freaked, he panicked like the ole Pick6 Lee we are trying to forget...to Miles' credit he was pulled before throwing his trademark.
I cannot explain the 2-faced QB...maybe its a pressure thing...who knows?
How many games/years does it take him to shake that?
Every time he goes in, say vs Bama, in the NC game...what goes thru our minds? Yeah, u right...the panicked Lee...also the Lee that cannot run the option for 10-40 yards like JJ...the quack sitting duck Lee.
Who wants to risk that in THE GAME of the past 3 years?
Unless you can assure fans the early season Lee will play...
I want him sitting until JJ is hurt or acts up passing.

john i think the PEOPLE he is referring to are the ones at the top who are saying metzenberger could have done his job.
But Lee deserves ALOT of credit. Who gives a ratsass if berger could have done the job, LEE DID IT! and thats what you have to remember.

It refer to the post saying the Tigers couldn't have gotten here without JLee. He's done a pretty good job, yes. But maybe Metzenberger could have done a good job, too. It's hard to say the Tigers wouldn't be here without him. Sorry if I burst your bubble.

Please show me where I missed how JJ can run the option. I have yet to see that. You have to be willing to take the hits and pitch at the last possible moment to be an effective option quarterback, which JJ hadn't shown.
Now understand I'm for the man who does the best in each game, but ole Less has used this reason for JJ but JJ really isn't an option quarterback, and yes I know he didn't run the option in high school.

Got ya. I took the original post as just giving props to Lee which he deserves.
There is no question Met and Rivers are both better than Lee/JJ. We will soon find out!

Hope yall are ready for more QB controversy bc randle will take over next year before its over. Kid has skills and seems to be the one making the most improvement in practice from what I was reading.
