Overall good engine.
It was built specifically as a RACING engine... and designed specifically for that purpose.
Have seen a few of them on Bass Rigs... the power-to-weight ratio is pretty good.
More engine "specific" info may be available if you have the Serial Number.![]()

I had an 02 with short shaft and it was a great motor up until 135 hours (Wish I would have known about Don back then).
I had it on a 20' bullet, light and set up to run it would top out about 85mph. Fishing with two people it was a mid to upper 70's rig. With the high rev limiter (6800) it had a great hole shot running a 24 performer.
is a 200 xs a different motor then the 200 pro xs?

Yes... very much so.
The 200XS was a 2.5L Racing engine.... while the 200 ProXS is a 3L "Production" engine.![]()
