Question---- I have a 2006 Pro XS 225, Cant seem to get my Monitor to accept the calibrations. Is there a reason for this model motor, not being able to detect the trim gage. Have tried unsuccessfully several times to no avail. At a loss.![]()

Look at the trim sender on the engine. You'll need to identify WHICH sender you have:
Analog: Has one BROWN w/white stripe wire. This is the factory sender, and it's not compatible with Smartcraft.
Digital: Three wires (yellow, blue and black). All three wires must be connected inside the cowling. This sender IS COMPATIBLE with Smartcraft.
An engine that has a digital trim sender can be upgraded to a digital sender by simply "replacing the sender with the appropriate digital sender".![]()
Note: When upgrading to a digital sender, remember that you will LOSE the function of any analog trim gauge! Smartcraft "System Link" gauges ARE available to replace the "analog trim gauge" and replicate it's functions.![]()
