Nope.. it appears they are going to build it at the foot of the Greater New Orleans Bridge, right on the river.. Traffic nightmare.
Read some of the comments to the article...Some people just know everything I swear. I think it will be a success.

I will take that anyday rather than spend almost 2 hours driving one way to Denehm Springs.

For buying its prob not I find better deals online but I like to bring the family there to eat and look at the ducks and fish (my 2 year old loves it) so for me its worth it. Something to get out and do with the family and getting a fishing gear fix at the same time..

The good thing about its location is that you can park across the river and ride the ferry to miss out on that nasty traffic.
I would have never thought they would put one there,but should be a money maker.It also give's someone another place to visit.
