Took the Stratos 176Xt out and it did pretty good.
Loaded with 2 people, little bit of tackle, junk, etc runs 38mph to in low 40's gps.
Not setting the world on fire. Gets me to the spot which all that matters.
My friend left his gps coordinates in his units he sold me with his boat.
He had some nice gps points plotted on Old River Morganza and my father said we ought to try them before you erase everything. So we went to try them out.
Most of places we stopped were so far away from bank I thought the unit was off.
Two of points were the best both sharp drop to deeper water. They held bass and white bass.
My father and I caught around 30 bass (1lb and 3lbs) and 20 hybrid stripers all caught on fred abrogast mud bug.
It was a fun day and caught fish can't complain.
