    Expensive morning

So my wife calls at work an says she hit a "pothole" and has a flat. When I get there she has a sidewalk blown out on the front and a leaking rear. Not that bad cause she needed tires anyway. Get to the tire shop and both the damn rims are bent. I called Lexus and the rims are $500 a piece.

Sushii you would be better off putting aftermarket rims on it if insurance dosent cover it. You could also check ebay or community auto in gonzales they migh have some wheels. However any man that can afford a lexus shouldnt worry about the small stuff.

Tires for those Lexus cars aren't cheap. Just had to replace both front tires on the wife's car for $600. I could have bought a whole set for my truck. Women and there expensive toys.

You should have bought the tire/rim protection plan from Lexus. I think it was 400 or so, the cost of one rim. I knew when she bought the car with those go cart tires that would be an issue, especially the way she drives. 15 to 20k on a set of tires max is all she gets. Where we live my wife needs to drive a truck instead of an overpriced Toyota.

You mean there are two coonies that own a Lexus? Holy crap you guy's just can't hide money.

And FYI yokohama makes a tire that is exactly the same as the tires on Lexus.

Yeah my wifey gots one two.

    Re: Expensive morning (timmaahh12)

Those bridgestone tires that come with the car is junk. I had one front tire last month that lost some rubber going down the I-49. Had to special order them and wait a week.

check with Fishers Automotive on Airline just past Siegen. They used to fix wheels, not sure if they still do or not.

Or you could just go for the 22's or some two-footahs

    Re: Expensive morning (lightfoot)

I just talked to fishers and they said 150-200 per rim. THat's alot better than 500 per. Only problem is there is a 3 day turn around. So MIndy will be without a vehicle for a few days
