Is there an option when ordering a new Mercury 225 Pro XS motor to get either of these LUs? Didn't know I had a choice when I ordered my 2007 rig.

What are the major advantages of one over the other?

If you are attaching that motor to a Ranger bassboat, wouldn't the torquemaster LU be the best option?

Finally, how can I determine which LU I have on my rig? Are they easily identifiable one from the other?
