Looking for help with main harness wiring in changing from a 03, 250hp ficht to a 05, 250 optimax. All other controls are taken care of. I have an 8 pin merc harness and the fitch harness is still in the boat. The boat is a ranger 522vx. Thanks in advance for any help.
You'll need to remove the 'Rude harness, gauge adapter harness, ignition switch.
Install the Merc components in their place.
Although it's "possible" to adapt them, I would HIGHLY recommend against it.
