The Lake Hudson Association is sponsoring a Big Bass Challenge on Hudson Lake 17 May. This will have a $1000 payout for 1 big bass. The tournament was originally scheduled for April 19th and would have coincided with the LBC tournament and we were invited to participate if we so desired. Unfortunately the decision was made today by the Lake Hudson Association to change the date to May 17th, but it is open to anyone so Dave Edwards from the LHA asked me to let you all know that it would be going on then. It is an individual event, you can fish two to a boat but you each have to pay the entry fee. More details about entry fee, launch time and weigh in site will be posted on the Lake Hudson Association website later (the current link for Apr 17 Big Bass Challenge is not working as of this morning). LBC has a tourney on Smithville on the 18th and I guess it would be doable to hit them both, especially for the chance at 1k
