I have a 85 gt150 and would like to remove the oiler off so that i can just add oil to gas.any one got any suggetions? i would just feel safer mixing than hopeing everything is working what do you think?

Plan for problems like when Bud Adams removed the Oiliers from Houston.

You would be a lot better off by just disconnecting the oil line from the pump and run 50:1 thru the motor, or 25:1 as it calls for when used in high performance applications.
You could also install the dual fuel pump system that was used in previous years.
Another idea is to use the "VRO" fuel pump replacement that is listed in the Parts and Accessories Book.
And last but not least, just install a new pump that is much more reliable and is also rebuildable should it ever need it.

Great info on vro pump, a mystery has been explained.
The OMC oil fuel pumps are the most reliable, I would replace it and not have to worry about premixing it's so messy.JMHO
