Lake Barkley

I am hearing all these reports about KY Lake being so hot, has Lake Barkley turned on yet?? I would think so, but haven't seen any info. Heading down there the first week of April and am wanting to fish Barkley. Staying around the Lodge in Little River.

Had a number of days on Barkley in the past two weeks with bags over 20lbs....both lakes are doing fine.

Yep, i have two buddies who had five that would weight in at 27 to 28 pounds on Barkely on Sat, so yes it is hot also.

O.K. i will not say another word about all the big fish being caught on Barkley

Don't worry... if someone said Barkley wasn't on, I know they would be lying. Several years ago my father-n-law and I went down to Barkley and all we caught the first day was six fish. However, the five best weighed 27lb 2oz. He caught a 7lb 13oz bass that was sitting on this flat with carp cruising everywhere. I noticed it and toss my lure in there and it swirled on it but missed it. I said throw over there, but he had already done so and two seconds later he had it hooked.

Now tell me where they were at and what they were throwing.... Just kidding don't expect that information, unless you want to tell me
