    87 200 xp problems

my xp is running really bad i put carb kits new plugs check fire switch gas tanks changed fuel lines. When I put the carb kits in I noticed when I first took them off the gas was chrystal clear nothing wrong. After about 5 min the gas in the bowl turned white and while I'm running I noticed the barrel of the carbs turn white I'm guessing this has to do with ethanol?? Can this cause my problem? It misses real bad backfires and sneezes through top right carb. After running it for a min or so at 3000 rpm's it cleared up and would idle fine. The next morning it would hardly run for 5 seconds and then miss bad and kill. It would start back up but the minute I gave it gas it seemed like it would just flood out and kill. Also the guy I got it from took the thermostats out of it. Would that cause it to miss or sneeze through the carbs until it warms up? Thanks guys

Without the thermos, it's running cold and will cause problems. I would install new thermos and troubleshoot from there. JMHO
