I am turning a 25 Tempest Plus on this motor about 5850 RPM on my Gambler Outlaw. Am I in the correct max range ? This is my first Evinrude. I have always run Merc EFI's and also a Pro XS and told to keep them under 6000.

I think the WOT range on the 01 is 5600 6000 RPM's so you are good to go with 5850 RPM's.

yep... 5850 and no more... yes it will turn more... but stay at 5850... then u can enjoy for a long time
