Nosir, no adj needed, run your tank down low then add the 100, unless you've been running the xd-50, it's compatible with the 100....
I have a 2001 and switched to it from the ficht ram oil (which I think is just the XD50 relabeled?) about three years ago and no problems at all.
Is there a source to buy the HD 100 at a bulk discount? I am just gettting my 04' 250hp DI in the water for the first time and I am considering using the AMSOIL HP Injector oil. I can buy it by the case for $36/gal. + tax. The best I have found the 100 is $40.00/gal +tax.
I won't say anything bad about the Amsoil, but the xd-100 has carbx included as an additive that actually cleans your engine as you run it. I get mine from my dealer in bulk, he pumps from a 55 gal drum into my container for 36.00 a gallon. No brainer for me....JMHO
Where can I get XD-50 in bulk in Georgia.
I get mine at Boats and Motors Marine in Dalton. I would think Cartersville Marine would have it. Give 'em a call.
