08 250 etec "injector" issue

Anybody have an issue. Ive had mine on my z520 for 3 years. No problems. 15 days out of warranty can't get it on plane tops out at about 2500rpms. Take it in Rude graciously decides to cover it under warranty. Says I have 3 bad injectors. 2.5 weeks later get boat back. Was told this is a common isuue and hard to get the injectors. Take it to the lake. Same problem. Take it back I'm told same issue, but only 2 injectors are bad. Orginal ones. I ask why not change them all if this is a known issue. I'm told rude will only cover broken parts. Ok. Take boat works fine for a month. Then same problem. Take it back. Im told 1 more is bad. Hard to get part. Sitting here for 3 weeks now without boat. Talked to mech yesterday. Was told new 1 is in, but during testing 1 of the new injectors went bad. All under warranty so I don't really want to cry to loud, but.... Is this an issue that I will have to deal with all the time? I've had a bunch of boats. !st rude. Loved it until 4 months ago. Mech says it has nothing to do with quality of fuel. Don't want to bash on mech or shop. It is a major ranger dealer in the southwest. Any help?

I have an 06 225 HO and I cant remember how many injectors I have had to replace. Under warranty I had all 6 replaced because of rough running. I blew the powerhead #1 cylinder and bad injector. Then sent 3 and when I took it out had one go bad had it fixed and a week later another failure. Knock on wood I have been about 2 years without problems. Not sure if I will ever purchase another etec. Yes they all have problems but out of all my fishing friends I am the only one with an Etec and they have fewer problems and get better fuel economy. My Etec loves gas. I do have a fast one as I am a couple mph faster than the mercs and yammies.

Thanks, but I have a hard time believing all 6 orginal injectors plus 1 new injector all go bad within 2-3 months. I have had absolutely no problems with this motor until this. Maybe one of the local mechanics can chime in.

I have had 3 go bad combined,on 2 motors,within 5 yrs....I think it could be the ethanol.
Mechanic has had all mine off,and said screens,were starting to clog with a white substance,which many believe to be an ethanol issue.
I have 1600 hrs on mine.

Got it back yesterday, Haven't had it out yet. Explanation given is there are 2 wires connected to each of the injectors. Over normal use those wires are starting to lose good connection causing the injector to not work. Not buying it. 6 in 2+ months with absolutely no prior problems? I guess we'll see.

The man that taught me how to Crappie fish has a 2008 Triton 21x with a 2008 etec 250 HO. He has had injector problems each year for the last 3 years. Had all six replaced last year with injectors that were suppose to be from a new vendor. His boat is in shop right now for a bad injector.
