Quick question. Model: E225FPLSSC SN: - G04815356

The ‘pee stream’ on my 225 wasn’t peeing great a few weeks back. Removed the water outlet thing with a 13/16th socket. Found debris clogging the hole up, it appeared to look like flakes of rubber. I kinda of wrote it off thinking it’s probably been there a while. I checked it again yesterday after getting off the water and found another ‘flake’ (about half the surface size of a dime and about ½ the thickness of a dime) of something in there. I’m not 100% sure it’s rubber as I can break it up fairly easy, but acts very similar to old brittle rubber hose. Maybe the inside of old warn hose? The impeller is new last fall, but the dealer changed it so I’m not sure the condition of the old one.

Anyone ever hear of anything like this? Maybe I’m overreacting and being too proactive. The engine runs well, pee’s strong, and shows about 3-5psi at idle and 20psi while on plane.

Thanks,Pete
