    water pressure fitting-2000 225 ficht

    do i need to put some type of sealer on the fitting for the water pressure gauge. This is where it screws into the back of the motor near the serial# plug. When I removed the fitting it looked like it had some type of sealer on it

    Teflon tape would work just fine.

    Loktite liquid sealer.
