    ground wire?

when i was puttin on my starter the other day i was wipin the dust off the motor and noticed a ground wire on the drivers side of the motor that was broke
this wire is on the bottom of the motor and connects to a motor bolt and has 2 more bolts that attach it to the motor bracket.
when i took the bolts out on of the ones in the bracket broke off.
is this nothin to worry about or should i replace it the best i can?
the motor still starts and runs fine on the hose.
will this affect it in the water?

    thanks guys

If I understand what you are talking about, that is a ground from the bottom of the power head to the swivel bracket, see if you can hook it up, if not, replace it.

It is there to keep all the motor parts grounded so salt or brackish water have a harder time eating your motor.
