Storing waders

I have always hung my waders up. Can I fold them and put them in a container for storage so they will be out of the way? I have always been told not to, they come in a box folded so I do not see how it could hurt them as long as they are dry!

I store mine hanging up. I have always been told if you are gonna store them folded up back in the box they came to always make sure they are 100% dry.....

i store mine in a closet on wader hangers. (from cabelas) they are stored upside down whenever i take them off and are ready for the next time i use them
