    trailering bracket vs transom saver

How many of you guys use the built in trailering bracket only, rather than some other tramsom saver device, ie: loc n stow, lock n haul, my wedge etc...? I use the swivlEze transom saver on my 225 etec, of course now, I have a few scratches on my LU from it. Pisses me off, so thinking of just using the built in deal.
    Opinions please...

Trailer bracket is fine, to keep the transom saver from scratching the lower put a towel between the saver and the lower.

Been using the factory bracket for about 5 years and I have no intentions of going back to a transon saver.

I'm going with the factory bracket and the plastic do dads that clip onto the steering to keep the motor straight.
    Thanks

IF you have some PVC and a drimel make your own clips. I made two sets (4 clips) for mine in a matter of 1 hr or less.

I've been using the factory bracket since '04 but, have replaced it twice. I'm not sure how it breaks but, it does. The dealer admits to keeping them in stock because of this anomoly.
