johnson venom 200 question

i have a 98 model 200 hp johnson venom. i have never had one minutes problem with it in 6 years of using it pretty regular. i have it on a 295 pro elite stratos and i was looking to get a little more than hp out of the motor. or in other words i would like to go a little faster. maybe 3-5 mph. i was wondering what are some options i have to do this. i really don't want to break the bank either. i also don't want to hurt my gas mileage to bad. please give em some options to look at. i had a guy to tell me i could re jet my carbs and resleeve it to get it to around 225. thats about all i need but wouldnt mind a little more. please help me out.

What boat is it on? What kind of prop and pitch are you running? What are your current #s in regards to performance? Ex. RPMs at wide open throttle? GPS speed?

Soooo, you want to spend oh say about $2-3K in mods to get 3-5 MPH? Send your block down to Monty Racing he'll build you one anyway you want.
