Question For the Guys Who have installed Blue Water LED

I just got my LED's in. Started the install tonight. Curious as to who has there deck lights wired on a seperate switch, and who has there deck lights wire on the court switch.
I am split 1/2 and 1/2 as to what I want to do here. Thanks in advance! Michael

IMO your gonna want them on a seperate switch. They are very very bright at night.

Just finished the install on mine this weekend. I put my compartment lights and deck lights on different switches. I figured there was no use in the compartment lights being on when not needed.

Re: Question For the Guys Who have installed Blue Water LED (mkmsports41)

Just finished my blue water install. All of my compartment lights and under console lights are tapped into my courtesy light. I own a 1990 stratos, so there was no existing wiring in all the compartments. Had to run that wiring, but wasn't hard at. The boat came with a separate switch up front that turned on blacklight outlets. For my deck lights I tapped into these as well. IMO, putting the deck lights on a separate switch is a good idea. There may be some situations when you don't want those deck lights on but just want the lights to come on in the compartments. Easy install!!! Most of the time is just planning out how to run the wires.

My deck lights are on one switch and my box lights are on individual switches mounted in each box.

I had an extra switch on the console for acc that was not being used. I wired to it. All i have to do is finish wiring the front deck and livewell lights when they come in!
