1997 200 vindicater model#e200stleub everything except electrical was new when i got a rebuilt power head {my old one had a hole in it vro,carbs rebuilt 2 times now plugs wires and plugs flywheel .its been 2 years now.and i fish 3 times a week minnmum.motor runs great as long as i dont stop to fish for more then 5 minutes .if i do my motor will start right up but right after the high idle stops it sometimes dies or will be idling 100 rpm lower then it should.then when i put it in gear it diesif i dont choke it .once i choke about 3 time s it takes off like a bat out of hell.
could this be something wrong with my vro.or could there be something wrong with the power head i got .both are out of warrentyand dont want to spend no more money on it untill i can get it figgured out.. it looks like i got about 1 ounce of oil laying in my breather cover.and sometimes when it starts its smoking way more then normal.
i have advanced the timing as much as i could its ideling about 875.
ive owned evinrudes for about 20 years and never have seen nothing like this.
what really gets me is this started when i got the new power head .it dont matter if its winter time or summer time
i cant get my rebuilder to come to the lake to see it act up .and of corse when i bring it to him its the first start up of the day and its on rabbit ears and he ckecks everything out .and says theres nothing wrong with it
PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP ME BEFORE I GET SO MAD AND PUT A BULLET HOLE THRU IT
