    Lower Unit Paint Question

    I purchased the lower unit paint for my Yamaha from Color Rite and got the primer from them also. My question, is the primer I purchased from Color Rite for use on aluminum? It does not say anything on the can or in the instructions they sent. Just wondering if I should use this or go get some self etching primer instead.
