I have a two or three spots on my boats sparkle paint (Triton 196 2001 garage kept) that I cant get to shine like the rest. It looks like there is a thin layer of white'ish film kindy like a bathroom mirror after you get out of the shower. I guy told me that when whoever put the gel coat on my boat, they simply put it on a little too thick or went back over those couple spots when they shoud not have.
He told me wet sanding would take right off and make it look shiney like the rest of my boat.
Does this sound right? If so, what is the trick to wet sanding these spots. The spots in question are about as big as a basketball but not in any particular shape.
Thanks in advance.
