    Screw holes

I have one of the '91 Rangers with the metal rails on the back. I was wondering if I were going to fill the holes and remove them what would be the best alternative? My cap is a blue metalflake, it isn't navy blue, its more of a true blue but still has dark under tones in it . Anybody got any suggestions.
    Thanks,
    Nick

i'd look for silicone in that color or something very close.. or you could put a strip of the non-skid material down! decals, etc.

Got a particular silicone you would recommend, or a place to get some that has "color options"?

You have a few options, you go the route above and cover them.

Evercoat gel repair kit , has everthing needed to do small repairs, any marine store carries it.

Small can of Marine - Tex and a small tube of Blue tint, Evercoat and others make gel coat tints that will mix with the white marine tex to get a close color match.

Call Ranger and have them send you a small sample of your gel coat, get some catalyst from an auto/marine store, mix and fill.

    Would they still have it?

Depends on how old the boat is and if they are still using that color gel coat in thier production. If it is one of their standard colors , they probably have it in use.
