    what wood do i need to use to replace decks

    I have to replace some of the wood that was in my boat because of termits. what do i need to use.. regular pressure treated or marine grade?? whats the difference

    I would suggest marine grade and coat it real good with epoxy resin when pcs are cut to size.. The PT doesn't really allow resin to bond to it.. Read that in some of the research I've been doing for my project

    Definitely go with marine plywood. It costs more than treated but it is worth it. I work for World Panel Products and we specialize in marine grade plywood. You can check whats available at http://www.worldpanel.com. We have stores in FL, N.C. and MI. Hydrocore should be work for you it's naturally bug resistant.

    Like these guys said. As well anything PT will warp as it dries.

    I see that the Fla warehouse has a 561 area code, where is it located?? If close by do they have a walk in sales office?? Great site also!!

    It's located in Riviera Beach about 40 miles north of Miami. It's mostly warehouse but they have walk in customers all time.     Thanks Russ They are about 15-20 miniutes away from my house!! Will keep this in mind when I need wood and other materials
